Other characters that come into play in this fanfict may or may not be pulled from other sources (including other fanficts, R.P.G.s, manga, anime, literature, or possibly even *GASP* American comic books!).

WARNING: This story in its final form may end up being a 'Dark Lemon', depending on how the contributions turn out. At the very least, some dark elements and a dash of lemon will be involved with parts of the story.

A WORD FROM TANGENT: Greetings once again, my fellow otaku. I bring to you another tale, one of tragedy and a hero's choice. Of wishes made in selfish madness, and the single wish that might be able to save the day - but not for everyone. A Wish of Honor.

AN INVITATION TO CONTRIBUTE: While I will be writing some chapters and connecting material myself, I am extending an open invitation for contributions to 'A wish of Honor'. Of course, I can't offer anything for this other than listing contributing authors in any particular chapter's credits, but I hope this will be enough. As chief editor, I have final say as to which contributions will be used, and how they will connect together, but I'm willing to listen to advice (which is why Lord Talon is assistant editor), so pre-readers would also be welcome.

GUIDELINES: Submissions will be for chapters or segments of chapters (paragraphs, dialogue, ideas…that sort of thing). All submissions will be at least considered for inclusion, but those that diverge too far from the general outline are not likely to be used. 'Cutting room floor' type segments that do not make it into a particular chapter may still be under consideration for use in later chapters if they simply did not fit in with that point of the timeline or the mood of the chapter.

The general outline, while somewhat flexible, is under my control. Each part of the outline contains the general idea of the segment and some guidelines and/or ideas to start with. Insertions to the general outline itself will also be considered, if I find them acceptable.

For the purposes of this story, Happosai may be considered to actually be Ranma's great-grandfather or great-granduncle. This would make him Happosai Saotome, and may preclude him from certain actions, such as actually impregnating his 'great-granddaughter/niece' himself.

Also, Lord Talon has requested that Happosai would consider Kasumi Tendo to be too pure too molest or have molested, so explanations for how she is somehow kept out of the loop for certain sections would be much appreciated by his lordship. Of course, all contributions will still be considered, even if she ends up pregnant [Lord Talon manifests a mighty mallet and hits Tangent over the head with it, "TANGENT NO BAKA!" To which, the crushed gremlin can be heard responding, "I…ite…"]

Please name the submission file 'A Wish submission by your online name here', and include your online name and net address in the file. State where in the story that you think your contribution would fit best unless you think it would be glaringly obvious. Who knows, if I get enough submissions, I might be able to compile alternate variations to the story (or just plain sanction them)!

GENERAL OUTLINE

PART ONE: Happosai's Magic Ring (Chapter count undetermined)

Happosai somehow acquires a ring that grants wishes in sets of three to a person, most probably by having stolen it long ago and only now realizing what it can do. Now that he recognizes it for what it is, the ring has acknowledged him as its current master, and must let him know the limitations inherent with each wish before it is granted, if it has any. Also, each wish made drains a portion of the ring's mystic energy depending on the power required by the wish.

• • Does anyone else find out that he has the ring at this point? If so what do they try to do about it?
  • Is there an interesting history to the ring, and does it have a name?
  • There are ultimately only four wishes left in the ring that can have any real power to them.

Happosai, being basically a selfish, unreasonable hentai, gives little thought to this and goes ahead to make his first wish: to have irresistible power over women. This, of course, is known as a bad thing (but not from his point of view). He can now effect the bodies and behaviors of any women he chooses, merely by focusing his will on them. What he cannot do is effect their knowledge or how they really feel, but he can make them act as if he could, with no one but him and his victims being the wiser.

With this new power, Happosai proceeds to make Nerima a living hell for the local women (not that he sees it that way). Even Cologne falls to his power, as he grants her the return of her youthful vigor and appearance, but makes her his puppet.

• • Physical control means that Happosai can adjust the metabolism and appearance of any woman he chooses to, one woman at a time. He can restore a woman to the vitality and appearance of her youth; adjust the amount and distribution of her body fat; ensure that her breasts never sag (but still look and feel completely natural); and so on. These changes are permanent even if his power is broken.
  • Women whom Happosai has placed under behavioral control cannot act directly against him unless he specifically releases them from such control. Fortunately, even though Happosai can control groups of women this way, he can only control up to ten or twenty directly. Women indirectly controlled either mill about, perform minor duties, sleep, or try to run away depending on their individual strength of will. These forced behaviors fade immediately once his power over women is broken.

Ranma, Ryoga, and Mousse make a bid to snatch the ring from Happosai, but are confronted by Ranma's fiancees (including Kodachi), whom are now under the direct control of Happosai. Ranma falls under his power as well when Cologne pours cold water on the would be rescuers in defense of her 'master'. Happosai, deciding that it is high time for the next generation of the Saotomes to start, has Cologne brew one of her concoctions in order to make male-type Ranma uncontrollably amorous, and then has the fiancee front change him back and force-feed him the potion.

• • Ranma has sex with all four of his fiancees, but does this happen 'on panel' or 'off panel' in context of the story?
  • While they all feel violated because they are being forced to do this, What are some of the other emotional overtones? For example: Kodachi is only bothered by the facts that she is not in control and that she has to share Ranma (she has absolutely no problem with the fact that he is an unwilling participant).
  • Yes, Akane has finally seen Ryoga's transformation. Since her actions, but not her feelings, are currently under Happosai's direct control, there is no question about whether or not she captures the piglet or kills him (she captures him), but what are her feelings about his having deceived her all this time?

Feigning exhaustion after the potion wears off, Ranma lulls Happosai into a false sense of security, and makes another bid for the ring. He nearly succeeds before Cologne splashes him with water once again. To Ranma-chan's horror, Happosai decides to punish her with his second wish: for Ranma's female form to become 'her' true form as 'Ranko', making the curse of the Nyanniichuan irrelevant. 'Ranko' is now the servant of Happosai.

• • Is the curse still technically there (with both forms now matching), or has the wish completely overwritten the curse (meaning that if she wishes to become Ranma again, the curse would be gone)?
  • Due to the phrasing of the wish, 'Ranko' now has to refer to herself as Ranko, not Ranma. She can say she was Ranma, and wants to become Ranma again desperately, but she has to refer to herself as being Ranko (no, she doesn't start talking like Shampoo) until she becomes a male again.

Happosai spends the next few days fondling and groping his living dolls, or having them model erotic lingerie for him.

• • A few days of light lemon fun here, for anyone who's interested.
  • The girls are still attending school, but Happosai has them behaving normally at this time, except for Nabiki (who is giving away risqué photographs for free).
  • What does he have Ranko do? Does he make her explain her keeping Ryoga's secret from Akane as part of her punishment? Is she attending school as Ranko and flirting with the boys?

After a while, Happosai decides to round off his wishes with his last one: to become his idealized version of his younger self. He is now tall and handsome…and no longer satisfied by simply fondling and groping his victims, or having them model underwear. This is known as a very bad thing!

• • Happosai starts sending the girls out to do things for him (purchase erotic items, steal panties, attend school, pose for hentai photographs…that sort of thing) without any underwear.
  • Back at the Tendo's, the girls are now naked or wear next to nothing. Happosai has them playing all sorts of erotic games with themselves and eachother. Is the pure and innocent Kasumi still kept out of the loop by the last vestiges of Happosai's conscience? [Lord Talon once again lets out the mighty battle-cry, "TANGENT NO HENTAI!" accompanied by a sound thrashing with many mallets]

When Happosai finally decides to start taking a personal hand in the activities, he starts with the beautiful and experienced Cologne. Unfortunately for him, Tsubasa charges in to make a valiant attempt to rescue Ukyo. Between the concentration he had been using on Cologne, and the distraction provided by Tsubasa, Happosai looses enough control over Ranko for her to make yet another bid for the ring. This time she succeeds! Happosai expects Ranko to wish to become a man again, but to his utter astonishment, Ranko makes the hero's choice, sacrificing her chance at regaining her manhood in order to break Happosai's power over women.

• • No, Happosai has not had time to personally attend to any other woman other than Cologne as far as sex is concerned.
  • Ranko is left in a state of shock because of the sacrifice, so does not currently become involved with the upcoming battle.

Happosai is in deep trouble now, as his former chief concubine, Cologne, attacks him. Not truly familiar with his new body, and facing an opponent who has the physical memory to be able to use her youthful body backed up by three hundred years of experience (and three thousand years of amazon tradition), he is forced to retreat after taking grievous injury.

• • Its 'beat up the hentai' time! Let the battle begin! Best battle description receives extra praise in the credits. Honorable mentions may be included for really good runners up.
  • Other than Cologne (and Ranko - for the opposite reason), does anyone else try to join in the battle?
  • Does Akane try to comfort Ranko, or is she still too hurt about Ryoga's secret to do anything right now?
